The Rain RN 180 is a high-performance solenoid valve specifically engineered for large-scale agricultural systems and sports facilities requiring high flow rate management. Built with a robust 30% fiberglass-reinforced PA 6 body, this series is designed to handle demanding environments with a maximum operating pressure of 15 bar (PN15). Each unit undergoes individual factory testing at 14-15 bar to ensure strict compliance with international safety and durability standards.

Technical specifications include a massive flow rate capacity ranging from 200 l/min to 1,100 l/min, making it suitable for high-volume water distribution. Configuration options include 2″ and 3″ female threads, providing seamless integration into professional irrigation networks. The RN 180 is fully compatible with 24Vac (normally closed) controllers or 9Vdc Latching solenoids for battery-operated sites.

Key internal components feature a single-piece co-molded diaphragm for reliable leak-free closure, a self-cleaning stainless-steel metering pin, and a progressive action differential spring for smooth valve operation. Operational reliability is further enhanced by its wide temperature tolerance (+4°C to 70°C).
